Alamo Community College District logo.Following an evaluation process that lasted more than a year, the Alamo Community College District in San Antonio, Texas has selected to deploy the enterprise version of the Acalog™ ACMS™ to provide the district's first unified academic catalog system for five colleges, including Northwest Lakeview College, Northwest Vista College, Palo Alto College, St. Philip's College, and San Antonio College. The Acalog™ ACMS™ enterprise edition will permit the district to have a single administrative website for academic catalog management for all five colleges, while also allowing each of the five colleges to have a distinctly branded e-catalog Gateway with unique catalog content. The Acalog™ ACMS™ enterprise system will allow the district to have certain academic content, such as policies and course descriptions, maintained at the district level, but shared among each of the five colleges in the system. Each college will be able to use the shared courses to, for example, present unique degree plans. A powerful feature of the enterprise system means that corrections or changes to shared content at the district level will automatically and instantly be reflected in any degree plan in which it is referenced in the catalogs for each of the five colleges.
