DigarcU 2018 Draws Record Attendance, Announces New Solutions

LAKELAND, Fla. – DIGARC announced exciting new products to a record-breaking number of higher education attendees at its fifth annual DigarcU 2018 conference Feb. 18–20, 2018, at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando.

DigarcU’s opening session celebrated the significant momentum achieved in 2017 with 249 professionals representing 140 institutions from around the world. DIGARC welcomed 60 new institution partners and applauded 131 new product go-lives.

Under DIGARC’s new brand, Taking Education Higher™, DIGARC’s industry-leading offerings have been expanded to include:

DIGARC SECTION – a course section management product that tracks requests, assesses faculty schedules, monitors classroom space and identifies conflicts through an intuitive, at-a-glance interface that eliminates documents and the need for duplicate entries.

DIGARC SELECT – a new collection of products that accelerate the capabilities of ACALOG and CURRICULOG.

  • DIGARC GATEWAY: Customized design capabilities that transform an institution’s catalog gateway pages into a sleek, engaging marketing tool.
  • DIGARC INTEGRATION: The first catalog and curriculum product to use Ellucian Ethos to integrate with Banner and Colleague.  This solution also seamlessly imports and exports data from PeopleSoft and Jenzabar to eliminate duplicate entry across systems.
  • DIGARC PRINT: Catalog layout and print service offering a variety of design templates with options including cover design, fonts, table of contents, headers, footers and more. Choose from print-ready documents or printed and bound copies.

Held every winter, DigarcU provides attendees opportunities to gain insights from peers and product experts on the latest curriculum trends and market-leading solutions from DIGARC.

This year’s agenda includes a keynote presentation from James Willey, Senior Vice President of Product Management at Ellucian, informative peer-led presentations, product collaboration sessions, technical deep-dives, and an “Expert Exchange” where attendees will meet one-on-one with a DIGARC representative.

The sixth annual DigarcU is March 17-20, 2019, at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort in Orlando.
