Enjoy Tampa’s Riverwalk

The Tampa Marriott Water Street overlooks the Tampa Riverwalk, which won the 2018 Greatest Places in America: People’s Choice Award from the American Planning Association. The Riverwalk offers access to numerous attractions, dining and entertainment. Soak up the Florida sunshine by renting a bike, scooter, kayak or paddle board or take in the sights on a water taxi. Eateries and entertainment abound at Sparkman Wharf and Armature Works on opposite ends of the Riverwalk. Arrive early to enjoy the Gasparilla Music Fest at Curtis Hixon Park just a short walk from the hotel!

Steps Away from Top Attractions

We encourage you to come early or stay late to enjoy Central Florida’s many attractions, including Busch Gardens a short ride from the Tampa Marriott Water Street. There is also much to do walking distance from the hotel and Riverwalk. The Florida Aquarium recently ranked second on the USA Today’s 2019 Readers’ Choice Award for Best Aquariums in North America. Museums accessible from the Riverwalk include the Tampa Museum of Art, Florida Museum of Photographic Arts, Glazer Children’s Museum and Tampa Bay History Center. The Straz Center for Performing Arts offers Broadway shows and concerts and Amalie Arena hosts concerts and Tampa Bay’s Lightning hockey team. You won’t be short of things to do while in Tampa for DigarcU!
